A Doggin' Bloggin' Get Together....Ta Talk About Poetic Weather.....

Hello ta all......

Now if ya think that winter's nice....
.
Just take a look at all the ice.....

That came ta visit us taday.
And stuck around until mid-day......

The ice was just topped off with rain.
It sure made shoveling a pain.....

But it got all scraped off ya know.
Then all the rain turned inta snow
......

Then everythin' was soft 'n white.
Fluffy layers....so clean 'n bright......

It made us wet when we went out.
It's somethin' Gram could do without......

But it really makes ya stop 'n think.
As ya ponder at the kitchen sink......

How pretty it is...just take a look.....
Like pictures in an artist's book......

As long as yer all stayin' home.
Safe in yer observation dome......

See, we don't want ta run 'n hide....
We'll just watch it from inside......

Now that yer in our line of sight
We wish ya all a safe, warm night......

This is Dewey Dewster reportin' on the winter weather here in the Burgh.......

I agree guys. I think that staying in the house safe and warm is the best idea. We got the same thing you did. Snow, sleet, rain, sleet, snow, wind. And when everybody had their driveways and sidewalks shoveled, it snowed again!

Now they are calling for an "East Coast storm" on Tuesday!! Yikes!! Enough already. This winter has been brutal!

Love and Koobuss Kisses,

Hi, Dewey...

You are a poet...Who knew??

Snow is very pretty...

I know I should 'preciate it more, but it makes my feet cold & I get buried in it...

Ok...Enough of my whining...

We are hoping Rosco can come home today or tomorrow...Poor guy - he was soooo sick...

Pals, we love that poem.
We've seen your weather on the news here and boy oh boy is it icy and freezing cold up there. When does spring kick in???

The weather in parts of Oz is the opposite. Melbourne has had 3 consecutive days over 43 C or 109.4 F how hot is that!!! Thankfully it's not near as hot where we are.

Stay safe and out of that freezing weather.

Now terriers, it's just not nice
To think you might slip on that ice
Or loose you Gram in all the snow
if wandering outside you go.
Stay safe and warm tucked up inside
(Tell Gramps to get you some raw hide)
To keep you busy night and day
Till Spring is sprung and you can play!!!

Haa!!! Apologies Dewey, for my bad effort. Your poem was pawfect and the photies are fabbie.

Wiry wags, Eric. xx

Wow...that's the best thing so far this week bout this icy cold weather...mumsie got her car stuck in our driveway today...and yesterday the carpet cleaner came and couldn't get his van up the driveway...so he backed down and slid into the front yard and skidded all the way down the grass...coulda be excitin' if he'd rolled the thing...he didn't look too happy when it took him half an hour to dig his van out of our yardie...and the carpets never did get cleaned...he mumbled something bout the spring...

Barkin' at ya doggies...

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!

Love and kisses...Laciegirl

Hi, Dewey...

Rosco is doing really well...Thanks for all the well wishes...

You asked what caused the blockage...They really couldn't tell...

They called it a Linear Blockage - The Vet said it's like a fiber or something gets stuck & then everything kind of closes up like an accordian until it creates a blockage...He had two of them...

Amazing to think a piece of fiber can cause so much damage...

He's a tough guy though...We think he's gonna be OK...

Thanks,
Pat, Abby's Mom

Hi-Woo,

Nice poem. The weather in the Burgh stink. Mommy has been coming home every day from work shaking like a leaf cuz she had to drive home in it. R street has been a sheet of ice! She says that she talks to her Rav to get her home in one piece.

OMD - the game is starting - it's starting!!

Go Stillers!!!!
