Diggin' Tunnels and Pullin' Guard Duty

Hi ta all.......

We were at the cottage again fer a spell with that dialup stuff 'n Gram just can't handle dialup at all. So we were just not usin' the computer at all there........
I can tell ya we didn't see any porcupines this trip........ 'n we're sure happy about that. They were horrible monsters.....fer sure......

But I tell ya.....we saw somethin' movin in a pile of rocks near the edge of the woods. My Mom was over there scoutin' around and we wanted ta see what was in there. So Gram let us all go over ta catch the vermin in the rocks.....

Why, even Toby wanted ta be in on the search.....look at 'em go......... why I tell ya... it almost seems like he wants ta dig an earthdog tunnel fer all of us......

Of course my Mom's shrill bark scared anythin' away that was hidin' in there. We're sure the vermin ran 2 miles away after hearin' her scream like a banshee.........

**************************************

Back in "Da Burgh".........

Remember we told ya all about those burglars that are prowlin' around just waitin' ta steal our toys ?????

Well........I was sure I saw one tryin' ta get inta our house........

Why....he was frightenin'.....fer sure......

Imagine this guy gettin' inta our house and stealin' our toys........
I had ta run ta get my favorite toy ta guard it so that it wasn't stolen.............

I stuck my head inta the toy ta make sure if it left the house....I was goin' with it.......

No siree.....there wasn't any burglar goin' ta get my toy away from me.........

I held onta it fer dear life........

I think I scared 'em away..........do ya think it's safe now ta let it go now?????? Well, I'm not lettin' it outta my sight.......

Let that be a lesson ta all burglars tryin' ta get inta our toys......
WE WILL NOT STAND FER IT.....AT ALL......FER SURE........
**********************************************************
Oh yeah......
'N Momo and Pinot had asked us a while back ta see some pictures of baby Parker....'n we kept fergettin'.....
Here's a little video that was taken in early April.....we'll try ta get more soon.......

We have ta make sure Parker doesn't try ta play with OUR toys.....that he only plays with HIS toys......Imagine us all gettin' locked out of the house so Parker could play by himself........the indignity of it all......

Gee, we are sure sorry we were away fer so long.......we'll be around ta visit soon......
This is Dewey Dewster reportin' on flushin' out vermin and guardin' toys.......

Dewey, you are doing a very good job protecting your toy!
Parker is so cute! Was he laughing because he was inside and you all outside?

Hi Guyus!!

Good to see you! It's also good to see that you finally got some time to yourselves. You've been very busy lately chasing vermin up in the woods and protecting your toys at home in the city. Seems like a dog's work is never done.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie

We're guessing if Parker had a tail, it'd be waggin with just as much enthusiasm as the three of you canines! You've all got "happy" down! We're thinking, though, that you probably don't need to teach him diggin lessons just yet. Teach him to toss a ball, instead!

A wee bit jealous....

Oh please stay from porcupines! I think I remember you had an incident one time, right? Maybe it was just a bunny in there?
And by all means, make sure you guard your toys, and your snackies too!!

Wow, can you guys guard our toys? They keep disappearing in poofs of stuffy fluff! And we have plenty of rock piles to play in.

Dewey & Company!

I watched Toby's Amazing Excavation video and came up with a plan! If he and I joined forces, we could double-team ALL the bad things in the world. I am the Forever Vigilant Border Collie and you guys, led by Sgt. Toby, could flush out all the baddies from whence they lurk!

I like the style of your Tenacious Team O' Wires!

And I want one of those toys...and a Parker Pup, too!
Your pal,
Fenway

There you are. I'm wagging you are back pals. I'd missed your handsome square faces. Boy oh boy, what smart work with the rat hunting, you cracked me up Toby with all that diggin' but be careful don't get your head wedged in the hole like the Flakie Lakie will you?

Crickey Dewey, hate to bark it but think the burglars might steal you with that cute toy guarding. Try a MEAN face next time...the sort you give Gram when she puts you on the excercise bike.

Then what a treat to see baby Parker! Boy ohboyb he was admiring you three. Smart boy eh? Great taste too.And that cute yap...yeah he's stolen me n Mom's heart ..

Wiry loves and kissies, Eric xxx

Dewster!

Glad to see you're back! Yeah you've got to police the area for vermin -- Josie and Emmy did that Wednesday night at the corner of the yard 'cause the voles were on the move again. Mom got annoyed 'cause it was 11:00 at night and they came back in covered with mud! Uh-oh, they forgot the rule -- no mudbaths at bedtime. Mom wasn't happy...

Yes I'm a daddy again! Two boys, two girls, all spoken for already. Mom is trying to remember how many times I'm a daddy but she can't. Definitely four times...and I do have grandchildren too. Mom wants me to try again at least one more time so she can have a puppy of mine. She says if you have what you like, why let it go.

Love,
Rudy

That little bi-ped Parker looks so adorable. His laugh made us laugh too. He seems to love you guys very much. Also, GOOD WORK in keeping the burglars at bay!! Kudos to you. XOXO-BabyRocketDog

Now I have to comment & say sorry I've been remiss in reading all my favorite blogs.I have to sit at the visitors center or at a restraunt that has wi-fi...too cheap to invest in one here in ID (so far). Love your blog! X-Cassie

Thank goodness there were no porkipines at the cottage... what a relief. I think Toby saw something really special under those rocks. And I think it got him by the nose and flipped him! What was it???

Baby Parker's laugh got Mama all sentimental, remembering my brother Daniel's "da da da giggle giggle" when he was that age. 'Course she didn't mention anything about how cute I was when I was a snorting, slobbering puppy. Sometimes I think we just can't compete with human babies.

Dewey, you should have Asta Marie bark at the toy burglars. Wow, has she got a pair of pipes!

Glad you're back! I sure do miss you cuties.
