Back From the Dead......Fer Sure

Hi Bloggies.....

We sure thought that we were never gonna get ta tell ya all about our lives....ever again.....why....never, I tell ya....never.....

Why, we've been tryin' ta get ta the computer fer weeks now......it's almost been 2 months since we got ta tell ya anythin'.......

But we're back....at least fer a spell....

Do ya remember that RV that we posted about in January?

Well, it's gone, I tell ya....gone.... Gram 'n Pap sold it and it has been hauled away by a big truck ta a new home........

Ever since we got here Gram 'n Pap have been cleanin' that place and lookin' fer a new one where we own the lot......

Why ?

Well, so we can have a fenced in yard....that's why.........fer us....ta play in.......yep...just fer us....

So we moved ta Lake Placid, Florida which is about 20 miles south of where we were in Sebring.

Gram 'n Pap bought a mobile home in Lake June Hills which is right across the street from Lake June in the Winter, a 3500 acre fresh water lake.

Wanna see it???? Well....here it is........
This is it........our new home away from home......

There's a homeowners association in the over 55 park we are in and they ( 'n we as members )own a lot right on the lake with a Beach..................

A pavilion fer havin' parties.......see it behind the fence.....
And fer lookin' out on the lake too cause there's a pier there ta walk out on....
'N if ya have a boat...ya can park it there too........
Ya can walk out pretty far on the pier.......that's it on the left......

Ain't it pretty????? That's Lake June in the Winter.....

'N ya can look down the shoreline too.....

We have a lot more room here........bigger couches ta sleep on.....

And ta celebrate our return ta bloggin'......

We all got groomed......yuck......it's a good thing it got warmer around here cause we have no hair.....

We will try real hard ta get around ta visit ya all soon.......but we'll leave ya with a snapshot of the Sunset on Lake June.......

Geez.....we sure hope this ain't our last post fer another 2 months.....
Email Gram 'n tell 'er what ya think about long absences.......yes siree.......you all tell 'er......fer sure.....

This is Dewey Dewster, long-lost reporter, bloggin' about our new home.....

Hi Guys,

It's me, Koobuss. I'm glad to see that you are back blogging and that you have a new place to stay in Florida. It's beautiful. And, living on a lake must be just fabulous, especially if you are treated to those kinds of sunsets! That is gorgeous!!

Good luck with your new house! Send more photos!

Hey!!! We're so glad to hear from you. Twice, yep twice, our humans drove through Lake Placid and when we told them that's where you were, they were so upset that they didn't know just where and how to reach you.

So please fix that tout de suite -- we're not sure when they'll be driving there again, but we want to be prepared.

After all, Asta Marie and I, Jake, did share a sweet moment together.

Welcome back.

Wirey love,

Jake and Just Harry

Well you had a pretty good reason to be gone for so long ... and now we might blame any absences on your spending all your time out there sniffing and smelling out your new digs. It looks like you landed in a pretty special spot, and we love the name of your lake. Plus, it's beautiful! What a gorgeous sunset!

Glad to see you've claimed the couch ... you all look mighty pretty and handsome sitting there together. Looks like it might be just the spot for working on the laptop....

Happy to see you back. Keep us posted now and then.
Love ya three

Hey Dewey and Co.!
Your new place looks so nice!!!
Also, your haircuts look great too. Unfortunately, due to my skin allergies, I have chewed/licked my legs too much and they are sort of bald, so I will never have lush legs like you all. I hope you are enjoying yourselves in Lake Placid!
Your buddy, Lenny

Hi, Dewey!
Thanks for your concern!
My mom does not like to talk about the bad things that are happening here but it is very scary!
Yes, we are suffering the drug wars here too!
This used to be a very peaceful place and now we wake up everyday wondering how many were killed yesterday!
We live in an area of the city that it is supposed to be safe but now we can hear the bang bangs very close!
We pray everyday for this situation to end soon!
Thanks again.
I hope you all are having a nice and relaxing weekend!
Kisses and hugs

Hi Deweyeee!
So happy to see that you are back blogging:)

Hmm...so that was the surprise:) Your new home seems to be beautiful. (This isn't the Lake Placid of the movie trilogy - right? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Placid_(film))
Mercury has seen one of those movies and she was wondering if it was the same lake?

That beach is fabulous...you can roll in the sand and then shake it off, and then you can go for a dip in your part of the ocean to cool off!

I think that the three of you look very smart in your new fur-dos. In fact you remind me of someone called Twang Funster from our DCOM project. As the project is going online soon, we are beginning to see many new dog-sketches:) Mercury's got dog-drawing-mania!

Take care of Gram and Pap - they really love the three of you.

Wo! Nice new place, Dewey. Even the name Lake June is beautiful. In fact, it looks like the nicest place on earth but does it have continual Internet? You better make sure, otherwise it's going to take Gram another couple of months or more to get you, Toby and Asta Marie back to your blog!

Anyway, it sure does look like you're living in luxury there with the lake and a dog-party pavillion and a fenced-in yard and a bigger couch. Well I just bet you're soon going to tell Gram and Gramp that you're going to keep them there all year long. But you have to stipulate you'll let them stay as long as Gram keeps your blog up-to-date!

Glad you're back blogging again. We wondered why you were quiet. Glynn says it was probably something I said, but you know I get blamed for everything around here.

Sure is a pretty place you picked to hang out, nice beach, comfy couch, when can I come visit? (Ouch, Glynn just elbowed me)
