We Love Earthdog

Hi ta all....

Taday we hopped on the Pa. Turnpike and got off at Donegal and went ta have some more earthdog fun.

My Mom gets excited when we get off the turnpike and even more excited when we turn onta the road ta Woodside.....Earthdog Heaven.......

The view from Woodside is breath-takin'...ya can see ferever.......

Mr Rat is always there when we're there fer earthdog fun and this Westie is checkin' 'em out.....

People are lined up at the Intro to Earthdog tunnels ta see if their dogs are interested in chasin' a rat in a tunnel.....

There were a few new people there this weekend and they got ta meet Mr Rat......when a terrier meets Mr Rat....all they want ta do is get 'em......... ya almost have ta feel sorry fer the rat....notice I say ALMOST..............

Now this Cairn Terrier is tellin' Mr Rat just what he thinks of 'em bein' around Woodside....

Then there's Parker again.......he was over ta our house with his Mum 'n Dad and he got onta the little ATV that I thought was mine but he thought it was his......guess what ???? It is his.......

He likes ta find out about his new toys all by himself.........

One more thing.........Gram has had this Hoya plant fer probably 30 years and until lately it never bloomed. Gram likes ta start new plants from pieces of the ones she has and everytime she would give a hoya away that she started from this one, the recipient would say "You didn't tell me that it bloomed ". 'N Gram always said that her's never did. Now she has one of those waterin' globes in there and the Hoya is bloomin' up a storm.....FINALLY......

Well, that 's all fer now folks......
We hope ya all have a swell week.....

This is Dewey Dewster reportin' on Earthdog, Parker and bloomin' Hoya plants......

Woodside is sure pretty! We wish we could see an earth dog event in person! That would be fun!
Nanny gave mom her hoya that she had forever and it existed for many years and finally one year it bloomed! So our mom knows exactly how your gram feels! Those waxy flowers are just exquisite and worth waiting for!

Love ya lots,

Ooh too bad we couldn't go -- Mom left us to take Ollie to a froofy DOG SHOW in PA that day, darn it. I'm sure even he would have preferred barking at rats!

Hope to see you in August at the Dachshund ED test -

Dewey. Yes us terriers are top doggies but as for earth dog. Well I have to bark it. I DID feel sorry for Mr Rat with all that poking and prodding and the yapyapyapping. But then I'm a softy and missing the prey jean. And oh Dewey..I went to be stripped at my usual place at the weekend and a new girlie did me..she cut my beardie off..the shame...can hardly lift my head. But I digress. Baby Parker, his video has gone, vamoosed. S'not fair, I wanted to see him with YOUR ATV. You're nice to share and pretend it's his, but we all know that's gobbledeygook. And the Hoya. Never heard of it. Pretty though but you seems to have been slacking on the watering front for Gram....get to it...

Hi, Dewey!
Poor rat! I'd be so scared if I were in that cage!
I wonder what do you do with the rat when you catch it!
My grandma has only 3 plants. One of them has bloomed 2 times in many years. Just one flower and it dies in 3 days!
Hmmm....
Kisses and hugs

Is it Earthdog time again already? Sure looks like you're having fun. I know I'd have been after that rat too but somehow watching it from my angle on the video, I have to admit, I felt real sorry for it.

Anyway, where were you when Parker was on your ATV? Hope you weren't locked outside again. One day you're going to have to break the news to him that it's yours, but he's so darned cute, I don't know how you're going to do it.

Gram's Hoys is gorgeous. Mama says Hoyas like to be potbound and maybe Gram's was in a pot that was too big and it needed time to root out before it bloomed. But it was sure worth waiting for.

Guess what? I met a WFT at the show on Sunday and he looked just like you. We thought of you right away. Papa said, "Who's Dewey Dewster?" Ha ha. Papa doesn't know about my blog friends. But now he knows all about you!

Hi Guys,

I hate to say this, but I do feel kinda sorry for the rat. All those terriers barking in my face and rattling my cage would be enough to scare me.

Parker keeps getting cuter and cuter.

Nice Hoya plant, too. Hope it gets lots of blossoms for your gram.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie

Oh dear. D is feeling sorry for the rat. She likes those things....we like to get them too but we're too big for earthdog. D wants to know does the rat survive or do the dogs win?

Noah
ps If it's bad news for the rat best not tell D.

Hi Dewey,

Baby Parker too seems to be wondering whether the ATV is his.

Those Zoya flowers are beautiful. Your Gram must be feeling proud of them:)

I'm still trying to find my bearings :( but I should be fine in a few days... the good news is - I am back for good.

I hope you had fun at the Earth Dog contest. Did the rats stay over at your place this year too?

Earthdog trials look like fun, I think I could tell off a rat in a hurry. And maybe Parker will let you borrow "his" ATV when he's not looking.

Oh dear. We're two more of the softies that may not qualify for terrier credientials. We think rats are cute. At most, curious. I saw a whole cage of them at a pet store the other day, and just stood (very tensely) and stared. Much to Gussie d's dad's disappointment, neither of us barked at the Rat during our Rhodes College tour.

Oh well, we're still good dogs. And we are VERY impressed by you!

Keep it up!

Did you have a good Father's Day?

Our mom says your Hoya plant is beautimous!

Hi Dewey,

Just thought I'd ask you if your Gram could give some advice to Mercury on her book. She's somehow got it into her pulpy brain that Gram has some experience with writing. Ms. Snooty has written a book (a complete book...and she doesn't know what to do with it!) If she's got it all wrong - just forget it. You know Mercury...she's crazy and she imagines things. But she's been bribing me and I hope you'll understand - I couldn't say no to chicken biryani.

I hope you are enjoying your trip to the cottage. How are the tomato plants? Are you helping Gram with the gardening? I tried helping Cameo and Mercury trim a plant, but they didn't appreciate it. (Or I thought they didn't:-()

Have fun:)
