Summer and Fall..... Hello ta All.....

Hello ta all.....

Do ya remember when we got that new retainin' wall installed???? Me, my Mom, 'n Toby wanted an earthdog tunnel and all we got was a wall?????

Here it is right after it got installed and Gram put in some of the baby garden mums that she had dug up before the old wall was torn down.

Now here's what those garden mums looked like the other evening after we got back from one of our walks. It's easier ta take pictures after the sun went down and all the bees went away, cause there were hundreds of bees on these plants during the day.

Can ya believe how big they got in a few months?
And it was a surprise what colors we had cause when they got dug up, we had no idea what colors would bloom when Fall arrived.
So, we got a lot of different colors and they're all bloomin' right now.

Well, since Pittsburgh is celebratin' it's 250th Birthday this month, Gram thought ya might like ta see a few pictures she took of the city from up on Mt. Washington.

The stadium in the slide show is Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers. And the River yer lookin' at is the Allegheny River. Hope ya all enjoy it.

Ya can click on it(where it says full screen below) ta make it full screen 'n see it better....

And do ya remember that baby that keeps comin' by ta visit us? Parker, it is.......well, he's almost 8 months old now and he's finally startin' ta do real people stuff. He was visitin' us last Sunday and sittin' in the very same highchair that his Daddy sat in when he was a baby.....'n that was a long time ago. Here he is tryin' ta figure out how ta drink his water outta his sippy cup.

Heck, we coulda showed him how ta drink outta our water dishes......

Well, that's all for this visit, guys......hope ya enjoyed the show even though we're not in the pictures.....we'll make sure we're in the next ones fer sure....

This is Dewey Dewster here reportin' on Fall stuff... 'n baby Parker.........
