Hypnotoy- The Toy of Joy

 

This toy is now available on The App Store and it was created by Grouchy Gremlins.

Who are the Grouchy Gremlins ? Well I ,Dewey Dewster will tell ya....

Cameo: He is the one that uses those 0s and 1s and equations that make my head hurt ta create the dances that ya can see in the Hypnotoy. He's a genius in a Gremlin disguise.....don't let those pointy ears fool ya....although he does look a bit grouchy.

Mercury: Now Mercury is the best graphic artist that ya can find. Why she can draw anythin'....even me. See that clock on my sidebar? Not the round blue one....scroll down a bit....look fer the handsome one. Mercury drew that and Cameo made it work. And who is that handsome devil whose picture is on that clock.? Why That's Dewey Dewster....me.....intelligent, handsome, distinguished and all terrier.

Oorvi: She's the middle Gremlin. Yep, my friend, Oorvi. Oorvi is the management Guru behind the Gremlin Team and she is also a Gremlin too. If ya don't keep the team motivated, ya can't get anythin' done.....

Gordie: He's a wise but somewhat crabby owl and ya can see him if ya visit the back room of The Hypnotoy.

Nifty: Yep, Nifty is a mouse that lives in the back room and pops out now and again ta remind ya that Gordie is crabby. I must point out here that she is also a vermin but I won't chase 'er....I promise.

Back in "Da Burg"....and a Caricature Story

Hi Bloggies.....

After 3 days of ridin' in the car with Gram, Pap, my Mom, 'n Toby.....we got back ta "da Burg". Gee, we thought that we would never get there.....ever.....

We made a friend while we were there...... 'n we wanted ta bring the little fellow home but Gram 'n Pap said we couldn't.....ain't he cute....he's a sandhill crane......he would have made a wonderful pal for Toby.....

The first thing that I did when we got back was grab one of my favorite toys. I see that no one stole it while we were gone....'n that's a good thing too.....

Can ya believe that we had NO TOYS while we were in Florida at all ????? None, I tell ya.....it was awful....but we were sure glad ta see ours once we got home again......

I just love this toy ta death..........

We missed a lot of the spring flowers bloomin' but we did get back in time ta see these........

Gram's dogwood was bloomin' it's little heart out.....

The pink azalea was openin' it's pretty flowers......

The lilac bush still had flowers on it.....

The Bridal Wreath were startin' ta bloom.....

'N the sweet shrub had the prettiest leaves 'n it's flowers out on display.......

Taday we got ta take a walk....'n I found a swell ball layin' in the street.......I had ta have it.....I just had ta........

Fer some strange reason, the ball lost all of it's air while I was playin' with it.....dumb ball................it wasn't nearly as much fun ta play with once it was flat but I tried ta have fun anyway.......

Tell the Story in the Caricature Contest at Mercury’s Blog!

'N now I have ta tell a story....

Why ???

Because Mercury, who is Oorvi's Mom and our friend, is a caricaturist besides bein' a really smart person with impeccable English.... 'n she asked people ta write a story about what's happenin' in the caricature below......

So I scratched my head fer awhile....grabbed Gram....'n told her what I think the story is behind this picture....

'N here it is....

I tell ya Mercury….yer always givin’ guys big noses..... ‘n this guy isn’t any different….another whopper of a schnauzola…….looks like a divin’ board…yep…fer sure….why that mouse could take a high-dive off it and win the Olympics…..

So what’s the story behind it all……

Well, I tell ya that the story is in the mouse. See ‘em ???? He stands big ‘n tall….. ‘n he looks at that horrible creature that’s pointin’ at his watch….. right in the eye.... I tell ya…..right in the eye…..he’s not afraid of ‘em at all…no siree…..

Now anyone else would be afraid of that creature because he looks menacin’…..yep….why look at the braids in his beard and that horrible hairdo….ya could braid his eye brows too if ya tried…’n the hair on his arms too…..that’s a gent ta keep at a distance…..fer sure…..miles away…..

So he hired the mouse ta eliminate a few vermin that were getting’ in the way of his business….which was not anything in the personal improvement/hygiene department at all.

Why….Ya may ask…. would he hire a mouse ???? He hired ‘em because he’s small ‘n can sneak inta small places and then POP the bad guys when they least expect it. Now, there is a bit of a logistical problem with him scurrying around inta small holes with that gun and ammo he’s totin’ but he is a “Problem Solver”…. ‘n he has found a way ta get IN….’n then get OUT again without anyone knowin’ it was him that did the “DASTARDLY DEED”. Yep, they call ‘em “The Rodent Raider”….’n he’s ta be feared by all.

Now “Protruding Proboscis” is askin’ fer it if he persists in tryin’ ta put the fear of the god inta that mouse…..scoldin’ ‘em like he was a wayward child is sheer folly…..He most certainly was not late getting’ back from the assignment….he stopped fer a spot of peanut butter on the way back…that’s all.

Yep, if “Protruding Proboscis” knows what’s good fer ‘em….he’ll put that waggin’ finger of his back inta his pocket and tell the mouse what a good job he did on his last assignment and pay ‘em fer his services. I fear that otherwise he will lose that finger and a lot more in the scuffle as “The Rodent Raider” will work silently, eliminate the braided hairball and slip away through a hole in the wall. He will never be caught either..........

So that’s my story…..’n I’m stickin’ to it !!!!!!!

My Very Own Dewey Clock

A little Bit of Gratitude

It wasn’t all that long ago that I met a brand new friend.
She’s really far across the world, but not quite to it’s end.
Now here’s a dog that has a blog ‘n lives so far away.
Rescued off the streets of India…she was just another stray.

Her given name is Oorvi, and she crawled out of the earth.
I’ve heard about her rescue, but not about her birth.
There comes a time, when the sun will shine and wash your cares away.
And because of Cameo and Mercury, Oorvi lives to play another day.

Right now she has a pampered life….’n she has a new job too.
How she manages ta do it all, I haven’t got a clue.
Now Mercury must be an artist…’n a writer too… fer sure.
And if ya haven’t stopped ta see her blog…ya need ta take the tour.

Cause Mercury, with Oorvi’s help has made a bunch of clocks.
And clear across this crazy world….a great big door unlocks.
Yer welcomed in with friendly arms…’n kindly asked ta stay.
Why, help yerself…’n sit a spell…’n pass the time ‘o day.

And to this friendly stranger…. so kind, creative, ‘n super smart.
No doubt a programming wizard.. ‘n I say this from my heart.
No other doggie could imagine…seein’ a clock lookin’ just like me.
But it’ a hit…..sit ‘n stare a bit …a rat yer sure ta see.

So to Mercury 'n Oorvi….may gratitude travel ’cross those miles.
I hope ya all have looked at it and left with lots of smiles.
And if ya like this poem… now, take it cause it yours.
Ya left the key… so willingly to open all those doors.
