A Tale of 2 Visits.......'N an Award fer the Blog too......

Hi Ya Bloggies......

Here I am reportin' about 2 different visits....one ta Kellers Lake by our cottage .....and one visit we had with Jake 'n Fergie, Miss Sally,'n Nina too......


Before I get inta the visits.....I have received an award.......'n I'm flattered ta get it too......

Mercury (aka Shafali)....who is Oorvi's Mom sent me this award fer my blog. Ain't it pretty? Thank ya very much Mercury......

Now this award comes with conditions and I will try ta fulfill the most important one....'n that's ta tell ya 7 things about me that ya may not already know.

So here goes.....7 things about Dewey Dewster......new ones....

1. I always like ta be the winner in everythin'.....I don't like ta lose anythin'....so when we play ball...the 3 of us...I always want ta be the one ta bring back the ball...all the time.

2. Because I always want ta be the one ta bring the ball back, if my Mom gets the ball, I body slam 'er so she'll drop it and I can get it....and if Toby gets the ball, I go over 'n try ta take it outta his mouth so I can bring it back.

3. I don't like Pap ta pet Toby 'n scratch his ears either.....so if I see Pap pettin' Toby, I just place myself right in between him 'n Pap so I get the pettin' n Toby doesn't.

4. I don't swim very well at all and I didn't know that until lately. We were at Kellers pond and I nearly drowned.....Gram 'n Pap too were all upset thinkin' their little baby Dewey  might not make it.

5. Every night I start out sleepin' in my nice doggie bed but  then I always crawl under the big bed ta sleep. It's hard ta get under there but I do it anyway.

6. I always act like I don't like Toby but I really do......he's my brother 'n I like ta play with 'em but I growl the whole time...just so he won't know.

7. I like ta think that I am fit 'n trim but I'm actually a bit overweight......'n I need ta go on a diet....the exercise doesn't seem ta be helpin' take off the weight.......'n that makes me sad....cause I like ta eat.....

Now ya know a whole let more about me than ya did before.......don't ya? Some might just want ta say that I'm spoiled....but I'm just bein' Dewey......

Hello ta all.....

We have a new houseguest stayin' with us fer awhile...til the end of October. We thought that maybe ya would like to see who it is that is stayin' here. Can ya guess who it is?

And a third one. Gram made a little house outta a flower pot so the guest had a place ta put down her head....sort of like a bed.......but more like a house.......

Did ya guess who's visitin' us???? Huh, did ya???? Tell us who ya think it is now?????? 'N did ya see a second one stickin' it's head outta the little house ?? I can tell ya that we know they're around and we have trouble fergettin' about it too.......

This is the first Gram has been able ta get any video uploaded ta Blogger....'n she could hardly believe it was successful....we never seem ta see the progress of the upload like we did taday and fer some reason we always have an error or it just never finishes uploadin' .....but taday, viola, a successful upload....go figure......

Baby Parker

Now do ya remember that little hooman baby, Parker, who is havin' trouble growin' up? Well, Gram got a little video clip of 'em yesterday tryin' ta figure out what his feet are for.......can ya imagine....6 months old and still doesn't realize what feet are for or even that they were his feet until lately......wow, guys, ya all need ta help us get Parker educated before it's too late......how do ya think we can help him?????

It's the Bloggin' Friends Forever Award.....Thanks a bunch Tell.....'n while there are a bunch of rules that go along with it....we think just about everyone we know has one except Koobie...so we're presentin it ta Koobie.....cause maybe it will get 'er Mom outta the baseball park fer a bit and back ta bloggin'...

We're sorry Koobie's Mom.... but it can't buy ya anythin' at the ballpark.... 'n ya can't use it fer the casinos either....but ya can display it on yer blog ta show that we're all friends here.....'n forever too......

Getting to Know You.......

Hi Friends,
We wanted everyone to get to know us a little better and so we thought we could share some video of us and our neighborhood. You know sort of like Mr. Rogers would have done in his neighborhood. So Gram tried to get some good video but all the best laid plans......we have some video.....not exactly what we wanted. But you can get an idea of how we live and see a bit of our neighborhood.

Now, we also need a little help here. Ya see, Toby is just a puppy still, being not quite 7 months old. And he hasn’t figured out what a walk is really for yet. He gets so excited on his lead; he just acts like a nut. Why, he doesn’t smell the pee mail on the street and even worse he doesn’t leave any pee mail on the street. I mean, what are walks really for?

So maybe someone can help us out here and tell us what we can do to get Toby to really appreciate the walks we take and the pee mail that everyone else leaves for us to find. Can anyone give us any suggestions? We would really appreciate any help we can get.

If you watch closely in this video, you will see a new friend depositing some pee mail for us to find. We didn’t even sniff it though, because we were more interested in meeting the guy. But we’ll find it the next time we take a walk. Oh boy, the delicious aroma of pee mail !!!!!
